THE UNCOMMON LEADER

CURRICULUM TO GIVE YOUR TEAM THE TOOLS TO SUCCEED

“The Uncommon Leader” process is centered around implementing a sustainable process of “intentional leadership” skills among staff, student’s, and the community.  It is centered on fostering a mindset that creates a culture of kindness and connectiveness. It will empower all to live the core values of an Uncommon Leader.

Mission:

To develop a mindset to be “intentional” in understanding our “purpose” and “culture” in our schools!

WHAT IS THE UNCOMMON LEADER:

It is important to understand the Uncommon Leader is a process, not a program. This process is designed to become student led, and developed to fit the vision and culture of your particular school, team, and community.

Discussion- Questions are provided to start conversations and engage students and athletes in critical thinking about the challenge being discussed.

Projects- We will also share some possible "team" projects where the students and athletes will work as a unit to make a difference in their school and community.

THE UNCOMMON LEADER FOR SUCCESS

Leadership is a popular topic and taught many ways. What makes the “Uncommon Leader for Success” unique is that it is intentional and sustainable in its teaching.

The strategies are presented in a way that is perfect for both individual and group lessons. This process gives both students and adults a chance to learn and teach leadership strategies that are useful and make common sense. We all know that most people learn best buy teaching.

This book gives them the opportunity to teach lessons in many different ways because people learn in different ways. It can be used in book studies, in-service sessions, mentorship meetings, and other learning formats. It gives its readers a real opportunity to truly understand their “why” and be able to help others understand their own “why.”
